Black Therapists Rock: A Glimpse Through the Eyes of Experts

About the book:

In my chapter, I reveal the horrific events that sent my mom into a depression so deep that she gave up her will to live and completely neglected her 5 children (all ages 13 and under). I share the intimate details of my life that led me to be a motherless child, and the impact it had on me when I saw my mother’s dead body lying next to me.

This book addresses personal accounts of depression, trauma, abuse, toxic relationships, drug addiction, grief, and mental health in the Black community
